Jonathon Witherspoon - CEO

A graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Mr. Witherspoon has found himself on the cutting edge of business and technology for over 20 years. As a NASA Scholar he designed, planned, and implemented one of the first distant learning systems on the Internet for higher education. His knowledge of aviation afforded him a nomination to the famed Discover Award for 3-D aeronautical design.

Since the early 90’s Mr. Witherspoon has utilized technology and business strategies to push outside the box and bring companies to the forefront of strategic profitability. His knowledge in business law, technology, strategic planning, corporate structure, and design has put him in a unique position to help any number of facets within executive teams and projects. He has accomplishments in several industries including, but not limited to: Broadcasting, Aviation, Technology, Healthcare, Entertainment, and Consulting.

Bob Perry - President

Mr. Perry brings a unique perspective to Roadside Medical. Bob is the son and brother of career drivers – both owner-operators the last 70-years, but has personally devoted his entire career to the health and fitness industry.

In addition to owning and operating health and wellness centers, Bob has been an ROI/Wellness Consultant for Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Kaiser Permanente, and the FOX Network, helping launch Fit-TV; a 24-hour health and fitness channel.

Bob first explored incorporating fitness into the trucking industry 20 years ago, when his father joined a local gym to improve his health. He knew first-hand the toll the road takes on your health and knew there was a solution. When approached by Roadside, Bob knew they had the answer.

Bob was recently appointed Vice Chair of the ATA Safety Management Council’s Health & Wellness Working Group. Mr. Perry often speaks at healthcare conferences, smart card forums, health trade shows, and trucking conferences.

Rob Scheschareg - COO

Rob is one of the country’s leading experts in the development and distribution of technology-enabled health and wellness products and services for consumers. Over the past 15 years, Rob has built a proven track record in developing and directing new services and resources that have generated millions of dollars in revenues and profits to stakeholders.

Rob began his career launching new products and media services for the information technology field while occupying numerous director and executive roles over the course of a decade with International Data Group, the world’s largest IT media and information services company.

As his interest and passion grew for the convergent space of information technology and healthcare, Rob moved over to the “supply side”, as a marketing and sales manager for Medical Information Technologies, Inc., the world’s largest independent software developer of integrated healthcare information systems.

He is a regular speaker and contributing editor to conferences and publications in the digital home, home design, fiber-to-the-home, medical monitoring, and wireless/ consumer healthcare industries. Rob is a graduate of Babson College.

Mary Alderson, PhD RN
Director of Clinical Operations

Dr. Alderson has more than 30 years experience educating nurses, in clinical practice as an RN specializing in stress management and emergent care, including trauma management post 911 ground zero and in the delivery of psychological services to those in crisis. Dr. Alderson has extensive experience building and managing both grant-funded clinics and private practices throughout the United States. This experience will be extremely valuable to her Roadside Medical responsibilities overseeing our clinical staff, practice guidelines and quality assurance and compliance.

Kim Eakins, MBA
Director of Corporate Accounts

Ms. Eakins has over 15 years experience in the medical industry. She has worked in clinical and surgical settings not only as a clinician but in management also. She brings with her a wealth of medical operations experiences with a proven talent in the development and implementation of training programs.

Melissa Stochl
Director of Finance

Melissa Stochl earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Missouri and a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. She is a certified public accountant (CPA) and has spent eight years in public accounting with a primary focus on the healthcare industry. During that time, she performed audit and client management functions as well as individual and corporate tax preparation services. She also has 5 years of hospital administration experience. After completing a two year administrative fellowship at Sarasota Memorial Health Care System, she managed two outpatient centers. Mrs. Stochl’s strong analytical background has allowed her to fill key roles in strategic and financial planning.

Rachael Witherspoon, MBA
Director of Human Resources

Mrs. Witherspoon joined the Roadside Medical corporate team as Director of Human Resources. She earned her MBA from the University of Nebraska and her undergraduate degree from the University of WIsconsin. Over the last 14 years she has managed companies with millions in revenue and teams of people to strengthen those companies to higher profitability.

Dr. Bob Mignone
Director of Wellness

One of the nation’s leading psychiatrists, specializing in the determination and treatment of psychiatric impairments. Dr. Mignone’s credentials include: BA cum laude, Amherst College; MD, BMSc, Duke Medical School, A.O.A. honors; internal medicine, Yale Medical School; neurology, Cornell Medical-NY Hospital and the NIH; psychiatry, Mass General Hosp, Harvard Medical School; Board certified, American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology; Fellow, American Psychiatric Association (F.A.P.A.). He has served clients through his multi-office private practice of psychiatry for over 35 years, and is the author of 3 books: 1. Ordinary Valor 2. Psychiatric Injury 3. Psych Consults. Dr. Mignone’s clinical special interests are Wellness, resilience from crisis, and mood/anxiety conditions. It is these area’s of specialty that Dr. Mignone will provide Roadside Medical with expert guidance and the systematic application of behavioral conduct measurements into Roadside’s wellness and convenient care protocols.

T. Christopher Lewis, Esq.
General Counsel

Mr. Lewis has been In-House Counsel for Union Pacific Railroad, Novation, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Currently Mr. Lewis does legal work for several companies and subsidiaries within the healthcare arena. Mr. Lewis' practice areas include Intellectual Technology, including the drafting, review and negotiation of joint development contracts, license technology agreements, software and hardware purchases. Mr. Lewis also has significant experience in the contracts arena, including the negotiation of long term multi-million dollar contracts and several high profile projects.

Melissa Bennett, N.D.
Nutrition Advisor

Melissa is a Doctor Of Naturopathy, She is a member of the American Association of Nutritional Consultants and a Certified Natural Health Practitioner. She is also skilled in the Zollinger method of reflexology from the Heal Center. A devotee of the science of blood type, she is an IfHI Fellow – earning her certification under the guidance of Dr. Peter D’Adamo. Melissa's practice focuses on total wellness and prevention. Her desire is to see you achieve optimal health. Melissa specializes in counseling on an individual basis and works with you to help you achieve better wellness through education. I am dedicated to helping you make healthy choices. I understand how difficult it is to maintain a healthy lifestyle in today’s society. I personally recognize that all aspects of health care serve a constructive purpose. In 2000 I was diagnosed with breast cancer on my 33rd birthday and had underwent two years of chemotherapy and 46 radiation treatments. I know what it feels like to be sick and I also know the blessing of being healthy. True health is achieved when your Spiritual, Emotional and Physical states are in harmony.

Diana Van Leuven
Media Relations

Previously to opening her own firm in 2001, she worked for the world’s largest public relations firm, Weber Shandwick Worldwide, leading national account teams and launching the first broadband ready PCs for Compaq and producing the first webcasts for both MasterCard International’s Global Technology and Operations Division and Hewlett-Packard’s Printing Division.

Diana Van Leuven holds a BS from Southeast Missouri State University and a Masters of Communications with an emphasis is Communications Management from Webster University.

Advisory Board

Roadside Medical also benefits from the guidance of additional, experienced industry experts in related fields to help create and advise on management issues and new avenues of expansion in the delivery healthcare for professional drivers.
